Here are some more " finished shots.
I got the car done at 12:30 AM today ( Monady 6/10/06)
Here's what I installed:
Trilogy #132
Granitelli COPS and new plugs
New Powder coated Valve covers (Even with the intake off it is a PITA
I had to pull the Steeda Pullies and put the stockers back on.. ( I need your address Mike!)
Made brackets for MY Snow Methanol Bottle and the pump mounting. I still need to make one for the controller. The meth kit is not 100% installed yet.
Auto meter Boost and Fuel Pressure on the pillar( with a kill switch for the dial lights). Water temp in a cup mount next to the Oil pressure. This gauge will have a 2 position switch so I can go between the IC coolant temp and the Engine coolant temp.
I put the wires in that split flex tubing ( I FINALLY got rid of that blue wire to my tranny temp everyone asked about!. It's in the flex tubing now.)
I think that's it....

Had to make the mounts for the bottle and the pump.
I have no bracket shot of the bottle bracket. It took awhile to make, and I was just happy to install it!!. BTW the bolts match now.

I decided to post the gauges... since I got nothing better to do.
The last one shows where I mounted the BAP controller. I also put asmall set screw on the dial to prevent the knob from going below "10".
It also rubs against the know makeing the knob a bit harder to turn. It won't slip out of adjustment so easily now.

I feel your pain, Rich. Mine looks the same. The car is currently at Trilogy - They are flipping the pulley for me. I'm glad I work just down the street from Trilogy's office!
BTW: Great looking install!

Way to go Rich! You will be running long before I am!

Jerry, did your belt shred all to heck too?
I was told today that I can simply remove the nut with my air gun and flip it around.I can handle that.
I found a belt K080510 ( BTW it's a IH truck application according to the Gates site) and will be able to get the car home tonight, but it'll be useless after I switch the pully. Trilogy is sending me a belt and I'll put that one on tomorrow. I'll have to call The parts guy to order a new hood insulator. Glad it didn't dent my hood from underneath.
Oh well this stuff happens.
I had one 5 second full throttle run....:cool4:

Hey Rich,
I have been following you installation.
Was the blower pulley installed backwards?? If so....WHY?? Was the kit not designed for your car or did someone just forget to invert the pulley at the factory??:argue:
Just curious??

Factory screw up by the vendor for Trilogy .
I am still ultra impressed with the way this kit is designed. Now, the instruction manual can use some tune up I found a few "errors".
But heck, if I can install this anyone can.
I am now REALLY looking forward to MVIV

Mine shredded too. I found a belt at NAPA and was able to drive it as it was until the Trilogy guys could confirm that the pulley was in fact on backwards. They offered to fix it for me. I won't be replacing the hood insulator though.
Good luck with the "meth"

Great pictures!
Why didn't you install another guage on the "A" pillar instead of adding a fourth gauge hanging out on the left side of the of the shift area?
Could you list the six types of gauges that you have?

I considered a single pod to go with the dual, but it seemed too "busy" to my eyes.
I decided to mount the water temp where it is since I'll only refer to it when my stocker changes it's normal position.
I have on the Pillar the Boost gauge that came with the Triology and an electric fuel pressure gauge.
On the console, I have the water temp, which now sports two senders controlled by a switch so I can go between the IC coolant temp and the temp of the engine coolant off the upper hose.
I have the real oil pressure and volt gauges then the trans temp with two senders also switched to go between too.
I'm adding a B&M tranny cooler today. The trans temps are up 10-15 degrees with the s/c installed. I don't like that.
I should also have the Snow Methanol setup running today.

Can you elaborate about this? I know that you have two gauges one on top of the other on your "A" pillar.

John, Autometer makes a single guage pillar pod also. I thought about adding it above or below the dual pod unit I have to have 3 gauges on the pod.

Thank you again.
I have been thinking about this for about two years. And the only answer is to put them on the "A" pillar otherwise I'll have to compromise on the number of gauges. I think this is true regardless whether I use dual function autometer type gauges. Besides I can't see the boost gauge unless I take my eyes off the road too long.
Any thoughts?

On the pillar they are right there in your left eye.
The only issue is that people notice them while looking at your car, so "stealth" can be a gonner.
I also added a switch to turn the backlights off at night (not my idea either, forgot who gave me that sorry) that way the lights are less distracting.

You're rightr on both counts.
If you were me and had only three gauges at the shifter area which three would you put in? Boost, oil and ?

Is the transmission temp more important than the coolant temp.?

Is the transmission temp more important than the coolant temp.?
I figured it was since I had the stock unit. I added the coolant temp for the Intercooler coolant on the Trilogy. The engine temp which I am picking up off the upper rad hose, was an afterthought that I liked.
