What is the best oil to use in a used Marauder, 42,000?

Clean oil. Add a pint of SeaFoam to your present fill, drive 500 miles or so and drain. After that, set up a program of 2500-3000 miles on the Motorcraft 5W20 multiblend-synth and a fresh filter, and you should be good to go for many happy smiles, without spending a lot of bucks.

nope Buttermilk

P.S. I happen to use 5-30 in my car but that's because that's what my engine builder recomended... I say if you are running a stock block and internals, run whatever ford tells you to, change it often and don't worry about it

Where is RF:D Still tied up at one of the dozen oil threads still running, I suppose.

I fully realize that this question appers to a troll at play, but I chose to provide at least one decent reply, just in case the question was in earnest.

Still...It's true, the best is the cleanest, and when on short interval schedule, the cheapest earns some credibility too.

The L/M dealership where I bought my MM from said my oil chages are every 5K miles, now I used to the 3K mile thing but the past 3 times I've gotten my oil change I've gone 5K inbetween and the oil still looks fresh. I also use a CARmotorsports filterMag

My dealership also said 5000. Don't know who to believe.

Then just go to this web site..... www.blackstone-labs.com (http://www.blackstone-labs.com) Do some oil samples and find your own answers. What works in my marauder does not work in the Ford E-350 vans I use at work.

There are a few members on this site using them.

I ordered one of their kits and in 2000 miles I'll be doing my oil change and sending them my sample.
