I bought a MM with what appears to be your cai. I had read somewhere that the position of the MAF is important. I am experiencing a rough idle and 14 mph from a basically stock setup. I cleaned the MAF w/ electric contact cleaner and it has not improved. The car runs well other than the mileage and idle, any suggestions?
Thank you,
Donnie

MAF position needs to be near stock which I believe to be about 10-11:00 position.
Either way MAF position shouldn't cause a a rough idle, you may want to look at the Idle control valve.
Thanks

You do have a K&N on there, and chances are you havent oiled it personally.. you should clean the sensor on the MAF, it might be contaminated with the air filter oil.
