Does anybody know if a 5.4L engine will fit in a 1997 Grand Marquis GS???
Or what modifications I would need to do to make it fit???
Thanks

If you want to try to fit one underneath the hood of your car, I know of a 2001 and up PI head engine for $800.

I think the 5.4 will fit, but the hood won't close...(the 5.4 is taller than the 4.6)

isnt a V10 bigger than a V8 (5.4L) in size???? Im just throwin this out there, thats all. Im just sayin that V10 looks awefully small. Im not tryin to be a jerk or anything just my opinon of the pics. But I do like the custom cowl hood!!!! I may have access to a 4V 5.4L DOHC engine, from the looks of the engine and comparing it to my engine bay, it looks like it will fit with a few mods to the engine bay. What do you guys think?? But I do appreciate the information guys.

Hell....GO FOR IT!
I think Ford should have put the 5.4 w/ or w/o boost in the MM from the get-go!
It would be one hellova cool project!

If people have a hard time with the 2V 5.4L, the 5.4L with the fat 32V heads is going to be a challenge.

Remember this when you decide to do so.
