I kind of thought this picture flattered the MM's aggressive snout somewhat...

Or how about this rear-end shot?

Probably the most weight my poor driveway has ever had to support within one car width! :D

What a difference a week can make in Montreal (we experience about 8.5 hours of spring before hitting summer right after winter!)

Just some shots I took today (and one from last week) as I prepare to upgrade from my current Fuji 4900 2.3 megapixel camera to my soon-to-arrive Fuji S2 Pro 12 megapixel monster. Woohoo! Can't wait to get some more beauty shots of the MM!

Very nice pics. You should add them to the gallery

i like how in one picture your grass is nice and green next to the car, and in the next, it's all dead. but the pictures are nice.

No way I'm getting rid of it, sorry. I'm just short of 8000 photos on that unit and it's been wonderful as far as colors and saturation. 99% of all my photos are taken at 640x480, a far cry from the 1800x1200 (I think) which would make up it's max resolution. And I usually take them immediately as JPEGs (with slight compression) instead of the uncompressed TIFF format. I REALLY like Fuji digital cameras since having scored this one for somewhat cheap at an end-of-model-year clearance.

This is why I'm sticking with Fuji as I move into the 12 Megapixel world with sharp Nikkor lenses. This 4900 was supposed to be a present for my wife so she could put pictures up on the internet for her family to fetch in Sweden. This was, of course, akin to a guy buying his wife a power tool... no question about who got to use it most often! ;-)
(although a large part of those 8000 photos is of our son, to be honest).

What I really like about the camera is that you can operate it in a full manual mode if you want... set the aperture between F8 or F4 or auto, and set shutter speeds between 1/1000 of a second and 3 seconds.

If you can find one on ebay in good shape, I think it's a worthwhile buy. The only shortcoming (besides proprietary lenses) is the slight bulk of the unit, a far cry from the pocket-fitting point-and-shoot models that are out today.

That's the way it looks every year. One weekend it's yellow and dead-looking, then suddenly a week later you're firing up the mower and treading through a green jungle!!

What part of Montreal are you from? I moved down here to Dallas from Pierrefonds about 3 years ago...Still have family living in Dollard-des-ormeaux...
