Where do you secure the safety chains?

Usually there are some big oval holes in the frame.

I use heavy duty nylon straps. The hooks are rubber coated so as not to scratch or mar the car's frame. I secure the hooks in holes in the frame just inboard of the tires if I remember. Trust me, when the car is on the trailer, and you look up under the car, the spots are very obvious. Use heavy duty ratcheting draw tights, spend the 5 bucks and get good quality zinc coated ones that wont rust or seize up on you. Another tip, after cinching the Marauder down, I will pull over after 10 or 15 miles and re cinch them, I usually get a couple clicks more after it settles and the straps give a little.

What kind of trailer did you get?

DO NOT strap to any portion of the suspension!!!!!!!!!

Strap to the frame as mentioned. Try to ratchet relatively straight forward and backward and try to cinch evenly left and right. You don't want to diamond your frame strappin her down.
