View Full Version : Next NY Area MMeet Redux

Hey Guys and Gals!

As some of you may know, I am under extreme pressure at work and unfortunately, I am shot until late June. As a result, I have not been able to think much about setting about another New York area meet. Nonetheless, the talk of Chicken in Chicago got me to thinking that we should get a plan together for another NY area meet. Tonight I had dinner at a bar/restaurant in Westchester that I think would make a good place for a meet. I spoke to the owner and he says that we could have the use of the back end of the parking lot where he could set up picnic tables and serve us a burger barbecue, excellent chicken wings, and all sorts of other good bar-type food. The prices at this place are pretty reasonable. Access to Westchester for most of you guys and gals should be pretty easy. OK jrzygrl nothing here will be completely convenient for you, but I will offer to pick you up at the airport.

Let me know who is up for something say in July or August (can't hurt to plan ahead!) and whether Westchester is acceptable to you guys.

Otherwise, I am up for other suggestions.....

June 7th and on is pretty clear for me (for now anyway).
And I need some time for fun, that's for damn sure.

Marty I am fairly booked for July and August. A convention July 8 - 13 and a cruise the end of August. I will try to attend when a date is established. John

Seriously...let's get a date going before the summer ends. Summer is almost a month old and it seems like it is flyi already!!!

Been so busy working, I havent been able to even get on this site in, seems like forever! (15 hour days will do that to you). work is starting to slow down a little, got a few more 15+ hour days comin up, but yea lets plan a date! our last meet I had 1500 miles now im up to 6600! unfortunatly I work weekends but Ill try to show up to whatever meet you guys plan out! hope to see some of you guys soon:up:

Hello and thanks, I did register in April when I picked up my Marauder but have been too involved with my Mustang problems and haven't done a thing to my work car yet, other than drive the hello out if it, lol.

Well it is a compant car. :rock:

No we are about an hour North of NYC but aren't opposed to driving for a good time just let us know when..........

Where at? I work in White Plains when I'm not in Garden City...mostly in WP.

We grew up in Tuckahoe but now live above Westchester on the Hudson. And yeah I guess I drive fast to get to the city in an hour, lol. Don't we all on this board, lol.
