I tell ya, it doesn't look bad for $5700.

from the description:

1999 FORD CROWN VICTORIA, 05 Marauder grill, 20in black rims, 114,000 mi, immac in/out, all power, fully loaded, police interceptor, $5,700. 267-236-2775 Philadelphia PA (wm20pm)

From that picture it looks more like a Marauder than a CV, if all they did was change the grille.

I thought the CV grille and the Marauder grille were not interchangable.

I don't thikn they are but only at the top so you'd have to replace the front support peice just in front of the hood. The headlights are also Marauder headlights. The bumper cover apperas to be the CV one, as I do not see foglights.

I just started a CVPI/Marauder project im swapping just about everything i can from a maruader(except for motor)and putting it in the cv.

Where did they get an 05 Marauder grill. I'd like to see the 05 Marauder they got it from seeing as from my understanding they only made 03 and 04 Marauders.

Maybe someone should call him and find out more details.....

Being a CVPI underneath is nice and all, but that will leave alot to be desired in the interior department unless he's upgraded that with MM interior components.

Not bashing CVPI interiors, but lets be real, they're great for utilitarian but not for luxury.

yeah i agree but there really isnt that much that needs to be changed for it to be the latter

From what I've seen in CV/MM exterior conversions, all that is needed for the front are the corner lights, headlights, grill, front fascia. The CV stock bumper cover can be reused but there is a slight gap on the drop in the CV bumper. the CV drop is wider than the MM drop where the grill is. You can barely notice it. It is a matter of like an inch or so. :)

The rear fascia is exactly the same just darker tinted taillights / reverse lights which can be tinted using "Nite Shades". The rear bumper cover is very similar to a CV bumper minus the lettering.

Rims, pick your poison. :)

The price is actually very close to a stock CV with no mods so not a bad deal. I live near there so I may go take a look at in one day.

Hi,
I am new here and you guys got some cool cars!
I have a Black 2004 Grand Marquis (don't yell at me) , dark tinted windows, with a cone K & N , PI zip tube and I have just added dual exhaust. It is quicker and sounds cool.
I want to buy a 2004 GRILL from a Marauder and put it on my Marquis. Does anyone have one? I don't care what color, I will sandblast it and paint it black.
I am also looking for black bezel headlights and smoked tail lights. I may spray tint smoke my tail lights . Any suggestions?

Welcome...

I'd start a new thread with your questions and requests. Only people interested in the title of this thread will look here so your request will not have much visibility. :)

To answer some questions, you can get the blacked out headlights on ebay and you can spray NiteShades on the tails to tint them. Id' also overcoat the NiteShades with clear and wet sand / polish them to make them glossy.
