Rear center tires wear is *not enough air*. The CAFE spec 32psi is insufficient to overcome the force of the sidewalls, and stretch the contact patch flat.

Search MM.net for 'Carfixer alignment specs' to get a better, updated alignment that is within tolerance for the Marauser (not the Grand Marquis!) and fixes some issues, such as the inside of the front tires wearing.

You ain't alone my friend. Just replaced my rears at 17k and should have been replaced at 13k. The fronts are worn on the inside and tracking terribly. Time for new meats and carfixer to the rescue.

Carfixer specs fix the front tires wearing on the inside edges. Increasing pressure to 40 in the rear helps with center wear on the rear tires.

Michael...Head over WilRae. Up on Harlem, just north of 95th interchange, west side of the street.

They went over my #1 Marauder, my "1x" Marauder and my #3, with their 4 wheel Hunter tools.

Ended all my problems, and answered a lot of questions here ever since then.

Give them a try?

No Mike, no one special. They're very careful with the wheels too. They let out some air, mount to the rim, and reinflate.

My rears were slippery bald at 23000. Replaced with KDW2 which so far seem to be wearing a little better. Time will tell.

Thats with the stock alignment specs.I take it your not rolling on stock bf.goodrich kdws I'm thinking the tires themselves are most or not all of the problem if you are aligned with stock specs.. I have one set left of bf's kdws so i;ll wear them out in 14000 also or do you think alignment will help..... has any one had there mm aligned and then had no problem with stock tires.
