Hello all,
My wife just returned from a 600 mile trip in 2003 MM. I did my regular post flight inspection and discovered right rear wheel covered in oil from axle.
Three months out of warranty, what should i do?

Go to the dealer for warranty repairs.:D

Three months out of warranty, what should i do?Find a competent shop that has rear-end experience. If your car is a 300A built before January of 2003, have them inspect for excessive axle wear. If present, purchase the axle TSB kit 3W1Z-4A109-AA and install it. If no excessive wear is found, then have them replace the axle seal on that side and refill with 75W-140 synthetic lube.
