Usually the boost goes up in 2lb increments each time you step down in pulley diameter.

Read my "know your blower" sticky?

I've used the 3.48 Vortech "S-Trim" on a stock MM engine, and that ran at 9.6 PSI. I've used other smaller sizes, but on built engines, and the end result will be different. Presently, I'm using a Reichert 2.90 for 16 PSI.

Remember now, the boost production between a Vortech and a ProCharger will be different, because of a difference in impeller and volute. They look the same, but are much different inside.

This may be my next (and final) step for the S/C. I want to get the thing up and running, get it tuned in, and see how it runs.

I don't really care about the actual HP numbers..... I am just wanting to scoot this thing to a 12.5 +/- .15. I "think" that's attainable.

I know I really don't want to go over 10PSI. It looks like that is close to the "breaking point" for a few cars.

also the prochargers have different gear ratios internally......thats the big factor...pulley size for pulley size....

Agreed...There is a lot of flexibilty in centrifugal designs, a smart shopper needs to get into the details like construction and internals.
