Sunday August 6th, at 9am, the Motor City Marauders will be sponsoring the Marauder Corral at Dorian Ford on Gratiot north of 15 mile. The Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise will run all day. We will have 18 spots reserved for Marauders and a few for members with Mustangs. First come, first served. The dealership has assured me that we will have and entire section fronting Gratiot, prime for viewing the cruise and for drawing foot traffic to check out the Marauders. We have always had a good turnout for this, lets keep it going! Bring your pop ups and chairs, they will have food there. Any questions, let me know.

I will be there. Put me down for a slot. Since my Mustang won't be ready till the 2010 cruise, can I bring my Thunderbird?

I'll make it to Woodward though.

Sorry I have to miss out on this one but the Mustang and I won't be back from Florida in time. I'll be hanging out with all of you at WDC as soon as I walk up to the BK from the back 40!
Enjoy the Gratiot! Always a great event.

How many spots do you have left ? :)
I have a small gathering at my place in Farmington Hills this Saturday @ Noon - 20+ Lincoln Mark VIIIs will be in attendance. Maybe some folks would be interested in this show on Sunday as well.

This just in sports fans! I am happy to announce that the special guest of the Motor City Marauders at the Gratiot Cruise will be Steve Babcock, Program Manager for the Marauder. Steve is a proud member of the MCM gang and this will be the third event or show that Steve has participated in with the club this year. This is great news, and should add to the fun Sunday. For anyone on the bubble about whether or not to attend, maybe this will sway you! Still a few spots left, let me know.

How many are you thinking? I may be able to get more spots for your club if you know they are coming. I think I have room for 4 Marauders and 2 Ford Non-marauders left in my allotment of spaces.

I just got done talking with Dorian Ford for some more details about the Gratiot Cruise this Sunday. The parking will begin at 10am sharp, we will have the entire frontage on the north end of the property, when you pull in turn left and look for us. I was also informed that they will be asking for a $10 donation for a charity cause, this year it is the Thin Blue Line, a police survivors cause that is very active in michigan. With this donation you get lunch as well. Dont forget your coolers and chairs, you can also bring your pop up tents as well. Any questions please let me know. The Cruise itself runs untill 6pm. See you all there.

Sounds like a good donation. I will have my chair and cooler ready for this "Pre-Dream Cruise" event.

It is a good orginazation that unfortunately in todays society is constantly busy helping families out. Here is the link for info on the Thin Blue Line Charity.

Thought I'd post a few pics from the Gratiot cruise. Weather was good, we had a good turnout of Marauders. It might be hard to tell from the pictures but we had all four colors there. Dorian Ford took good care of us.
It was a nice prelude to Woodward in a couple of weeks.
