Hey y'all, I'm home! Two days ealier than I expected, but Mother Nature wasn't in our favor this time out.

If you start at the IL-WI border and drive US 51 north for five hours, turn right and park, that was our campground. About 25 miles north of Woodruff. I arrived late Friday afternoon, with one Hell of a storm at my heels. For the next 36 hours, it was rain, thunder and lightning, and relentless lightning too. At one time so severe, it looked like dawn at 3:30 AM for about half an hour. Yeesh!

Wasn't so bad, though. The party went on, but fishun was washed out, so, no trophys. Sorry guys, no lies to tell.

As it cleared up late Monday AM, the heat shot up, and it was climbing past a real 98 degrees. If any of y'all know the Northwoods, this is very, very uncommon, and we decided to call it quits. Left out for home at 6 PM, arrived 0130 Hr. A nice road trip without incident both ways.

Well, I'm back and I have 1250 posts to catch up on. Some look very interesting, other are the same old crap. Either way, nice to be home and among friends again.
