So I get my car back today after having the correct rear sway bar put back in (they put the wrong part on my car last time) and what do I hear? More noises, presumably from the bushing or links or something on this new bar.
The dealer still hasn't been able to fix the main rear end noise I've got, even after talking with Ford's hot line. Now I've got even more noise.
I'm going to give it a couple of days to see if it "settles in" and then I'm going to go back to the dealer and frick'n blow a head gasket, and I don't mean one on the engine. :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

Horseman....
Maybe you should back OVER the mechanic at the dealer to let him look at the sway bars......
Hope it works out..

Fourth...are you hearing a bearing noise too? A "howl"? If so, there is a TSB (#03-05-05) on rear end/axle bearings. I developed a serious bearing noise that just gets worse and worse, and the Dealer repaired it all with the bearing repair kit mentioned in this TSB. If that's what you have, here is a fix.

Thanks Sarge. No, not hearing the bearing howl. The noises my car is making are all strictly suspension related.
I'm going to give it a while in hopes that it's just new bushings and that things will quiet down. Damn I'm frustrated with this whole thing, though. :depress:
