Reinhart Automotive Performance stage 1 upgrade for the 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police interceptor<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttp://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/ /><FONT face=

SCT Superchips custom tuning, using the state of the art Xcalibrator 2 hand held flash device, this custom tuning program will raise the Police interceptors top speed to a plus 140 MPH while at the same time firming up the transmissions shift points and adjusting the shift schedule for optimum acceleration and improving the fly by wire throttle response as well as increasing RWHP rear wheel horse power.

Dynotech engineering custom MMDS metal matrix drive shaft. This drive shaft is custom made with a Dana Spicer U Joints and spun balanced to 6000 RPM, its far superior to the stock OEM drive shaft which is only rated up to 128 MPH. With the installation of the MMDS the car can safely cruise at the higher top speeds for extended periods. Next the Art Car stainless steel forced lube circuit is added to supply a continues stream of transmission fluid to the rear tail shaft bushing preventing premature failure of the rear bushing, that can occur at the extended higher top speeds.

ADDCO rear sway bar is then added, this is a solid 1” hardened steel sway bar with poly urethane bushings, with this installation it dramatically improves the car’s handling at all speeds decreasing body roll.

Pro Guard rear skid plate is added, this improves gas mileage as well as dramatically reducing wind drag encountered in the rear bumper area, this drag can actually cause the rear bumper to balloon at high speeds, the rear skid plate cures this problem completely.

Those mods should finally give the LEOs a fighting chance--good for Florida

Wish my agency was this progressive.

Though truthfully, more LEOs would probably get into more trouble. Some can not handle the CVPI stock!

Nice mods. How much HP/TQ at the rear wheels with the new mods?

Oh yeah, and do ya need to run 93 octane? Most PDs run piss for gas

Did you have to remove the fuel tank protection kit to install the rear bar?

Also, did you have to extend the exhaust to install the drive shaft?
