Jeeze I thought only POS mustang headlights did this. It rained 2 days ago and somehow water got in....

How much are new light assemblies? I'm guessing its a Marauder specific part since its blacked out.

I think they are like 80 bucks each from L/M, cheaper on e-bay but not new. There was a TSB on it, but that was a while back.

A bead of clear or black RTV silicone around the lens-->housing mating surface will do wonders to reduce headlamp fogging. Also make sure th ebulb is properly seated.

Unfortunately they don't list the Marauder, but it wouldn't hurt to call them: http://www.headlightdepot.com/

My dad got Crown Vic lights from them, very good price and nice product.

Also, first step I'd say it so just seal the headlights rather than replace them. Thusfar the water hasn't cuased damage yet (it will overtime if not resealed though).

Good advice on that above.

Here's some more advice, not sure if this would work for us but it's interesting nonetheless, specifically for Mustang headlights, i'm sure ours are built the same way: http://www.mustangtuning.com/headlight-condensation-remedy.htmlhttp://www.mustangtuning.com/headlight-condensation-remedy.html

Just wanted to list my experience with headlight depot........... NOT GOOD, VERY CHEAP AFTERMARKET LIGHTS, I HAVE RECIEVED ABOUT 4 REPLACEMENTS FROM THEM AND ALL OF THEM THAT I HAVE GOTTEN ARE CHIPPED, IF YOU LOOK AT THE ORIGINAL HEADLIGHT IT IS BLACK, NOT PAINTED. ON THE AFTERMARKET LIGHTS ALL THAT I HAVE RECIEVED THE BLACK PART HAS BEEN PAINTED AND THE PAINT IS ALL CRACKED, ON 2 OF THEM WHEN I FIRST GOT IT IN THE MAIL ONLY A LITTLE BIT WAS CRACKED SO I THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT, THEN A WEEK LATER I WASHED THE CAR AND LOOKED AND SURE ENOUGH ALL THE PAINT IS CRACKED, I STILL HAVE THE LIGHT ON THE CAR NOW AND I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND ORDERED A NEW SET AND THEY ARE $140 A PIECE. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR......THE DEPOT LIGHT THAT I BOUGHT WERE BRAND NEW AND ONLY COST 44.95 A PIECE, PIECE OF ***** IS WHAT I GOT:fire:

If I replace them I want OEM. I learned my lesson with the mustang headlights. I double sealed the stang ones with RTV and water still somehow got in...

The other crappy thing is since these cars have the clear lenses in the front you can't just replace one light or it makes the other look like ****. So you've gota changeout both.

I guess I'll take it out and see if I can clean it up and re-seal it. She's going into a 350+ Mustang/Ford car show and auto-x next weekend.

Good to know.

We got a pair of '03+ Crwon Vic headlights, they look pretty decent for the price. My dad is happy with them but they're not as intricate as MM headlights.

Considering how yellowed and nasty his '99 lights were it was a great safety and appearance upgrade for him.

But sounds like the MM lights they have are no good. :(
