MM2004

So, on the way home from the office, I called my L/M Dealer to see if they could squeeze me in for an oil change.
Sure, not a problem says Jerry.
After arriving there, and them taking the MM to the oil change bay, I wandered the parking lot looking for the Black MM they have been trying to sell for about 6 months.
After a closer look, it is a 300A w/33k on the clock.
The damn thing is filthy, but straight as best I can tell. Didn't bother driving it when offered as I had other things on my mind.
I went to the parts dept. and asked them if they would run a report for my MM that breaks down by part number, every nut and bolt on the car. After giving Tom my VIN #, he said they will call me when it's printed as it takes a while to run this report.
On to the shop where I asked Ron about a side job that I could use his help with. (Sorry, secret).
He referred me to Buck, and after talking with him, he said no problem, and gave me his number when I am ready to schedule. Cool!
Walking out to grab a smoke, the oil change guy called me over to talk about,....
Control Arms.
He noticed them while under the car, and found them to be very cool to say the least. I added the handling is phenominal, and he is wanting a ride in the future. You got it man.
Walking in the parking lot for said smoke, I see my Salesman.
Yo Mike!
How much for the '03?
$22k.
Holy Shat! No wonder you haven't moved it.
Right now I am working on a deal thru Mike and the owner to let me have the car for a weekend to give it the best damn detailing it's ever seen, (Clay Bar, wax, etc, etc...) that would help them possibly move the car. Gawd that thing is dirty!
Of course, not for free, but trade for labor (oil change, alignment, etc.) and/or accessories. I was told they will not spend money on the car.
By then, my MM is parked outside and ready to go.
My name is called, paid the cashier, tipped the oil change guy and out the door. All of this in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Gotta love it!
Mike.
