I didn't feel like doing the work myself, so....

My little helpers insist on assisting! :)

Anyway, after lots of searching around and PMs to various members here, I decided the right driveshaft for my application was the MMC.

Thanks you all for your input and time - you know who you are.

While I was at it, the deep trans pan and driveshaft loop were also installed, the Metco control arms were lubed and the brakes were bled / flushed.

Here are a few more pics from todays fun:

Since I was crawling around, I thought I take a pic of the already installed TA diff cover and Addco swaybar:

In the morning, the wheels, wheelwells and brakes get some much needed detailing.

Nice , Charlie!!

I hope that you are at least paying them the minimum wage? At $70 per hour, I can't afford to have 2 mechanics under my car.

Great picture of the "helpers"!

Regarding the tranny pan. Does it sit lower and effect the overall ground clearance? Does it become the lowest point of the car? I am thinking about the same pan, but am concerned about ground clearance when running track tires (30/35 series).

Also any data on how much cooler the tranny temps are with the pan/cooler vs just the cooler?

Thanks,
jeremy

I'll jump in here as I have the same pan...
Yes the drain plug becomes the lowest point on the car,it's lower than the CATS on my Kooks system,but.....

Don't worry about it,I hit a gaurd rail suppport that had been hit by a car and deposited in my lane, about 2" bigger in diamiter than my ground clearance.Than deep trans pan had wood chips front to back FILLING the fins!,no damage at all.The engine oil pan, that is above the cross member was flattened to the point I lost oil pressure!!!!

Do like the transmission pan though. Just wish it wasn't so blasted expensive.
