How did you secure the unit to the vehicle? I just started wiring the unit. where do you connect the speed sensor and reverse wiring?

The AVN5435 well it just slides into the radio opening, I mean its in there. no mechanical fastening required. Trimmign of the dash trim was required, but realtively minor surgery.
VSS is picked up behind the glove box, I think its green with pink tracer or pink with green.
Backup was tapped in in the drivers side trunk, right near the bundle that goes to the trunk lid. My guess is this might be able to be done at the shifter, maybe not.
I had my unit installed, I didn't have time and wanted it before MV3 last year. I regret it. I could have done such a better job. I'm still cleaning up the wiring job they did.

The speed pulse wire in most vehicles with speed-sensitive radios can be picked up at the radio harness (gray/black in the Marauder) and the reverse wire, unless you're using a back-up camera, is pointless. You cannot back up enough to throw off a triangulated navigation system.
Thanks for the input...I got it working
how did you connect it to the steering wheel controls? I see there is an output from the headunit for the steering wheel controls, how is it hooked up?

You have to use a kit to interface the system, pac audio sells a few kits that allow you to do that.
