Well looks like I'm screwed as far as getting a new engine under extended warranty because I needed EVERY recipt from every oil change when I did it myself from Auto Zone, Murrys exc. The computer at the dealer says my car hasn't had the oil changed by a dealer sense 29,000 miles and here I am at 99,000. The bad news is I have to spend all this money I was saving for a blower just to get the car running right again. The good side is I get a new engine so when I finally bolt on my blower it won't be on an engine with 100,000 miles.

The one question I have is what do you think is a good time to bolt the blower on if I can afford it? 6,000 miles, 15,000 miles? When is the best time, like when the engine is just broken in? Do I need to wait 3,000 miles before the engine can see the 1320 as is? Thanks

What are you buying? Brand new crate engine? Or are you doing a fresh rebuild?

I don't think mileage matters as much as a proper install and tune.

It shouldn't matter, you can break the motor in with the blower on it anyway. As long as it's set up right and tuned right as mac said, many motors start life blown

Mine went on at 6K miles. I wasn't waiting for anything except the money to buy the blower.
