Wiper Motor & Lighting Control Module

The dealer replaced the wiper motor and harness and the lighting control module. Headlights came on with ignition & would not turn off and wipers worked on high only & wash did not work. All covered under extended warranty. TSB 05-4-9 applies to wiper defect.

Wiper motor 6W7Z-17508-AC
Harness 3W7Z-17A477-AA
Lighting Control Module 4W7Z-13C788-BB

Dealer had to order parts. Had to leave car for two days. Wanted to try to get axles changed under applicable TSB, but did not have opportunity to speak to service manager. Maybe next time.

Seems like it might be better to add my experience to this thread than start a new one.

Initially my wipers decided not to turn off. So I pulled fuse 17 till I could get it looked at. So its raining pretty good and I put the fuse in and I come to see that my interior lights won't turn off. But now the wipers are working fine. So now I have to pull fuse 23 untill I get it looked at.

I've read about the wiper TSB and some who've had interior lighting issues but not quite in this configuration. Now if I go to the dealer and tell them about the wipers I wonder if they'll even care and only focus on the interior lights.

Anyone else have similar experiences?
