Driving up to Lake Tahoe this wknd. 6000'
Oupside temp was 99 to 101 going up hill to summit.
Passed a car and my radiator temp was at 202deg.
and the trans. temp. jumped to 205deg (fluid in pan) and stayed there until I
was going downhill. Made me worry about going to WOT again with
high outside temps. I was not in overdrive.
Often times it gets to 107 where I live in the EastBay.

Thinking of installing a 1 1/2'x7 1/2x21" dual cooler.\
Cools engine and trans.
Could put it just above the stock trans cooler between condenser in
the front and the radiator in the back.
Add a bypass valves for engine and the trans
that opens above 180deg.

Any Thoughts

You will just be throwing a lot of heat on the radiator.

Remove the OEM radiator, mount an aftermarket trans cooler and cut the power steerin cooler off the OEM trans cooler and mount it to the front sway bar.

Leave the PS Cooler alone, add a trans cooler in FRONT of the radiator.
