Sunshine State " Cruzin For The Cure" Car Show

Greetings All, I've put together a Car Show on September 23, 2006, Co-sponsored by the Sunshine State Marauders. ALL procedes go to the Lee County Florida, Children with Cancer Hospital fund. We will have assigned parking for all members that attend. Show hours are 9:00AM to 3:00 PM, Trophies, and special awards will be presented at 3:00PM. The show is located at 5703 Cape Harbour Dr. in Cape Coral, Florida. Pre-registration is $20.00, an $25.00 day of the show. There is a raffle drawing, $1.00 a ticket, for a free 4 night, 3 day stay at the Marina View Condominiums overlookng the marina at Cape Harbour. Anyone wishing to attend can PM me, or Cobra25, for the registration form. Rain date is September 24th. Hope to see all that can make it there, for a great turnout.

We have room for about 200, if we get 100, it will still be a great turn-out for the first year. Next year, it will be on the Golf course at Burnt Store Marina, if everything goes as planned.

I mailed my registration form out a while ago with the check. I also gave out a number of forms to the guys at The Tower Shops. If anybody else is in need of a Reg. form let me know. We will set up a meeting place over here for those who wish to go over as a group as the date gets closer.

Well, once again I had the time of my life with what I consider to be the best of friends. I thank every one of you for taking time to attend the show. Big kudos to Mel for arranging it and many high-fives to everyone that made the journey to this coast. It was a great time and seeing everyone just makes the anticipation of MVIV that much greater. See all of you in november.

Mel Thank You for putting on a Really Top Notch Car Show. I Hope the Show made some good money for the Children with Cancer Hospital. It feels good inside knowing that you did a some good for the ones who really need it. I Won my first Trophy today, and It was a nice feeling. Congrats to all the Other Winners too. It was nice putting some faces too some of the screen names too. Made a few New friends and had a Really Nice Lunch too. I over heard him tell his friend who was around the 39 mile marker to pull us over and break our chops. Nice try Rob, I didn't fall for it when he was pulling us over but John Nero didn't know what was happening. It was fun I must say. I'll let John comment for him self.

I think John dropped a few turds in his pants.My friend turned on his lights and over the PA. said." Driver of the black Marauder with the Miami Dolphins plates step out of the vehicle " He got out and I wish I had my camera....I drove the wrong way purposly and made a circle around the rest stop...John thought for sure I would get the ticket......HAHA Got ya John.

Thanks to everyone that helped make this SSM show a success. I think from my count there were 13 Marauders. Great showing for the first time. Head count for the show was 125 cars. After the bills were taken care of we donated almost $2000.00 for the Children with Cancer in Lee County. Sorry I couldn't spend too much time with you all, I'll make up for it at MVIV. I think Ghost won almost all the raffle prizes anyway...Thanks again !!!!!

Thanks Mel for allowing us to be in the show. Everyone there I think went by to check out our Marauders. We made a serious statement. Great seeing everyone and this is just a prelude to MV IV;) .

Mel, thank you. It was a real priviledge to participate in the show to support the Children's Cancer Fund in Lee County. I think you folks are off to a roaring start. It was fun, very well attended and it was great to meet with old and new friends. Thanks also for taking such good care of us, your Maraudering brothers:trophy: . Last but not least your wife is wonderful:lovies2: . Please sign Penny and I up for next year...you can do it right now. That is unless Z surprises me with a terminal result.:bop: Special thanks to Rich and Eric for helping me eat my lunch.
