Does anyone make a 6 disc DVD changer that would work with the factory head unit? I want to be able to play MP3 CD's and if I could get a 6 Disc changers that handles MP3's on a DVD media that would be awesome. I have seen after market head units with that capability but no changers.

Howdy!

what you really need is a Phatbox didgital media processor. It fits in the trunk and plugs right in to the CD-changer harness plug.

I plan to get one as soon as I get home... check it out here:

With up to a 120 Gigabyte hard drive in the cartridge, you can store ALL your music in MP3, OGG. FLAC or some of those crappy Micro$oft formats. That is about six months of continuous music. The price is well worth it.

They are also sold as the Kenwood music Keg. Not sure if those interface perfectly like the Phatbox. They have a kit for the Mercury Grand Marquise that drops right in.

I will buy one in november and let you know how it goes, unless you beat me to it! :D
