Okay folks, here is the final itinerary:
Wednesday:
Dyno Day and General Meet @ Alternative Auto 9am-4pm
Dinner at Capers following Dyno Day
Thursday:
Open Day to do whatever you like (Ford Museum, Zoo, Cruising Woodward, etc)
Drag Racing @ Milan with FME 5PM to 10PM
Friday:
Saleen Open House 12PM to 3PM
Parking at the Cruise at BK Lot 3:30PM to 10PM
Saturday:
THE OFFICIAL Woodward Dream Cruise 7AM to 10PM
A few notes-
We will be meeting Wednesday at Lidio's to discuss "meet up" spots and arranging caravans to the local events (Milan, Saleen, Woodward, etc) as well as allow for folks to coordinate Thursday plans.
Dave will have T-shirts, Mugs, and Plaques for sale throughout the week. See him if you would like one of these items. The shirts turned out awesome!!
Saturday Dream Cruise - GET THERE EARLY!!!
We need as many folks as possible to arrive VERY early at the BK Lot on Saturday to help us set up and "stake our turf." Although we technically "own" the lot, when you have 1.6 million people out there, we'll need to get our set up in place to discourage squatters. That means I'll need some help setting up the banners, shade tents, and chairs. I need a good group to come out by 6am with me.
Bring lawn chairs and shade tents!!! Bring what you have, we'll need em!!
Bring your Mug from last year for a $3 all you can drink offer from BK.
If you need directions or other information, just call someone. Most of the Motor City guys have each others cell phone, so contacting any of us will get you the info you need. Exchange cell numbers with folks you see when you get into town or arrive at an event.
Its only Monday and Woodward is PACKED! Weather is awesome and the cars are hot! I love this week:banana:
