My first AutoX was awsome! I took everyones advice from this post http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=29353 and thanks to all. I have no idea what my times were because both my runs were in a downpour and they didn't have the timer display out. I only got two runs in but they were both awesome fun:banana2: . No pics this time but there will be a next time for sure. I'm hooked!

The Martin Sports Car club policy is the race is on no matter the weather and olny pauses for lightning. The people with racing radials had almost no difference in thier times wet or dry.

Running in the rain is fun. :) Working in the rain is not. :(

I've done it at least 3 times this year. I was actually shocked that the AWD vehicles were not running faster than the FWD or RWD. I guess it shows it's not all equipment, it's the driver too. Which I knew, I just thought that they would be more confident to run in adverse conditions.

Its definatly a good time! These cars are awesome on the course.

It rained durring ours too. I did 2 wet laps and it was fun. Luckly the sun came back out and dried the track.

Working in the rain does suck. You get even more nervous that someone is gona slide into you.

You don't even have to be working to have the crap scared outta you. :D I was on the sidewalk of the parking lot and a car came screaming past a slalom. He overpowered it and came through the timing equipment sideways and was facing me for a couple of seconds. He had just a tad worried there.
