Donny:
Yes, the MM won first prize in its class at the John Bleakly Ford Mustang and Ford Show. It was a great show with tons of nice Mustangs and TWO Ford GTs - a Red and White one along with TWO GT 500s - a white and blue one. I will have pictures up tonight on this thread. The GT 500s were beautiful cars - I mean awesome looking. The GT 500s were listed at $45,000 with a dealer mark-up of $15,000 or a total of $60,000. These are really nice cars, but not at $60,000. (Besides, my MM has run faster then most of the car magazines 1/4 mile runs with their GT 500. OK, I'm proud of my MM.)
Donny, bring that 4 door sedan truck with your new SC to SSHS6 it should be legal to run.

All that money, and the GT 500 still has the European flavor of yellow turn signals in the rear tail lights...Alas, money does not = class after all...
EDIT: Just noticed that the white GT500 doesn't have the yellow signal inserts that the blue GT500 has...Is this a production goof?

Mac, I think what you see is light reflection from the flash of Glenn's camera coming from the "reflector" part of the tail lights. It could be that the color is washed out a bit, or shifted. The blue car the pic is taken at an angle, the white car is taken straight on to the tail lights. I know there was a flash.. look at the round emblem on the back of the car and you can see a light flare, and also the mustang off to the right in the back the reflector on the side marker light is tossing back the flash.
Just speculation.
We had F-U-N...and I'd take Glenn's Trilogy Marauder over just about anything else there for it's all-around performance/practicalness. But don't get me wrong...there were some NICE "show-cars" there....
And I was proud of his win...nice trophy, too!

Donny:
You should have been in the CIA. Unbelievable information you saw in the photos. You are correct the camera had a flash. Here are some more photos of the GT500 and an interior shot. Look at that 1967 Fairlane with the huge blower - unreal!!!
