Ok this may be a silly idea, question or maybe has already been addressed.I know the best way to tweak your tune for your car is to Dyno it.Heres my concern. I have Exhaust and a DR tune (Xcal2) there is no real "marauder" specialists out here in BC Canada that I know of....is it possible to do some WOT runs, normal runs and record the data-log, e-mail it and have one of our experts tweak it for my driving conditions and habits....I am NOT unhappy with the DR tune by any means what so ever but I hear everyone squeezing that little bit extra out the there cars from a Dyno Tune.
Any questions, flames...appretiated
Thanx

Seems like a fair question...Don't think it works like that...Though...
I think a large part of Dyno tuning sucsess is in the "Real Time" adjustments to the car at various speeds/loads/WOT...This will net a specific tune for your specific car...and allows the tech guy to "play" with the adjustments...to find the sweet spot...every car is a little different...
That's not to say someone can not take a shot at it...
To the contrary...Although it would be like asking someone to bowl in the dark...
In short...You are unable to see what your "shot" (adjustment) yielded...
Now you set up a situation of someone trying to tune your car over the phone...
NOT a good situation...for you or the tuner...

dont wanna squeeze it to hard like alot of bad tuners do. To many things go Snap, Crackle and POP! Yummy, I might have some cereal. Sounds good. Good question though, I have wondered this myself. One of our dyno guys here where I live is one of the ones who push it to far.

Hey Dan,
I know of a shop in North Van that does SVT tunes and SVT work. They had the fleet RCMP service contract when I was in that area, and saw many SVT--SVO cars in their bays. Can't remember the name right now, but I'll look for it. I think it was called White's??? They are 5 minutes from the Second Narrows bridge. I'm not sure if they have a dyno, or just do performance parts installs.
You can also try contacting Bishop's at http://www.bishopsales.com/
I've known Jeff for awhile while I was rodding up my P71. He is quite scatterbrained, and drops the ball ALOT with scheduling, but is a decent guy, not a scammer. He should know of a decent Ford tuner in the area to refer you to. That's who I was going to call when I get my mods here. Tell him Ian from "Stargate" and "Smallville" sent ya! I haven't seen him since he moved to his new shop, and unless you call him everyday, many things don't happen. I was supposed to go out on some track days with him, get a deal on an Allen supercharger (for my Crown Vic)from him, but he has a million balls in the air all the time, and forgets about half of them. Let me know what you hear.
