I was wondering what are the fastest 1/4 mile times, trap speed and 60' times achieved on Stock wheels and Street tires???
No widened rims, no drag radials, no slicks. I am curious to know what is the best possible when the limiting factor is traction, I don't care how modified the rest of the car is, just do it on stock wheels and street tires.

My 12.9 was on stock tires...

My best is 13.00. And that's on stock tires, even a little worn down.

Javier, I went 12.68 with my 1/2 worn KDWS stock tires with 30 PSI. That was at Bradenton with a 125 shot of NOS before the Trilogy.

I remember my friend, I wonder whether your times are the all time best.:D

Went last night and did mostly 15 sec runs at 97 mph. I was a little disapointed since i put lidios tune and a k&n filter in box. Hoped to be in the 14s.

Sarge that is pretty close to 11's on street tires, your 60' is similar to mine but your rate of acceleration is fantastic.
I had no idea it was posible to get that close to 11's on 255's which by the way is what I have, thanks for info.

I think I was able to bang out a 12.3 in Trilogy #1 before Jerry got the Nittos on it. I am sure some of the guys that were there might remember better. Darryl was there for sure, a few others. It took a while to figure out the launch, but I cranked out a 12.3 and a 12.4 if I remember right. That was the night I made 17 passes in Jerrys ride!

I had a 12.9 with lots of wheel spin, hit 110 top speed though

So far 12.2 is quickest.
113 mph is fastest.
1.81 is best 60'.
Are there any 60' times out there in the 1.7x area?

13.5@100 mph with a 60 ft. at 2.0 sec using Pirelli's 255/50ZR18 before widening my rear wheels.

And you did it on my home track at Mason Dixon. It's been two years and I have not been able to erase that 13.2 out of my mind. :pimp:

Ahh...but I believe I cheated.
I had the left head light out. :nono:
I am sure I would have not even come close with the headlamp in. :banned:

Not to mention the enormous weight reduction factor...that headlamp must weigh about 400 lbs.:P

Hey Bear...Is that the left headlight when you're looking at the front of the car, or, the left headlight when you sitting in it?
Screw it, I'm taking both out next time...That's got to be 800 pounds, right?

uhh...hell I don't even remember. I haven't raced in so long now.
I would love to speculate, but I am on a new path. I am not sure what the path is yet...but it is gravel. Gravel being the "cheapest" path available ya know.;)
Anyway...back on topic....
I for one am impressed with the numbers posted by the folks with blowers and street tires. I once tried to run with the NOS and the bfg's and all I accomplished was a wonderfull 200 foot burnout...:rasta:

I don't know if any numbers will surface any faster than the ones already mentioned. My reason for asking, aside from curiosity is that I wondered if doing anything else to my car would allow me to run a faster 1/4 mile.
My self-imposed limited traction will remain, I am not going to do anything to my stock wheels and I am to damn lazy to swap wheel/tires at the track. It is gratifying to know for a fact that it is possible to run faster with stock wheels and street radials.
I have learned that 1.8x 60' is about the limit of adhesion for me, also with greater HP a 1.8x 60' can (possibly) take me to the low 12's. I think it would be very impressive to be able to just drive to the track, lined it up and run a 12.4 or even better a 12.2 and when done just drive home.
A smaller pulley and a Lidio tune may be in my future...a guy can dream right?
