How to ruin a car. . .

Oh I don't know. The body style is the same, more or less, as the GM and Crown Vic (panther platform?). But the performance is extraordinary.

This is an example of a certain styling genre favored by young and old alike.
However, the stock wheels do not enhance the new look, maybe something in wire spokes or a more "expansive and solid" wheel center.

The car is oviously in great condition but is that the original DTR color or an aftermarket paint job? If stock is five stars then this car get's a three star rating.

Was this car just sold??? After having the only Marauder in Lufkin for 2.5 years, a blue one turned up this week. I talked to the guy who bought it today, and he got it up in Dallas or near there. His name is Bobby and he works at Discount tire. Said that on the way home he stopped in Tyler and filled up at WalMart, and the truck driver had just dumped diesel into the fuel tanks, and he ended up with a $600 repair bill that Walmart paid.

Yes, that was my car. Bobby called me the day after he bought it because he figured I had knowingly sold him a car with a bad engine, but he didn't know about the diesel fuel foul-up yet. When he found out, he let me know, and was very apologetic. Bobby's a good guy because even when he thought he had been ripped off he was never abusive or overtly angry toward me. And I don't blame him for jumping to the conclusion that he did; I would have thought the same thing- this was a bizzare and rare situation. I plan on contacting him in the near future to make sure my Baby Blue is still in good shape.

He seems really proud of it. I met him a few months ago at our Academy. He drove up in an older (pre 98) cvpi with Exporer wheels and commented on my car and said that he was gonna get one of those someday. I guess he finally got it! It's a good looking car.

I'm pretty sure I told him about this website, but I will make sure I tell him next time I talk to him. I will try to stay in touch with you guys via this website and the occasional show at Chuck's Grapevine. It's been great!
