I'm sorry, did you say pleasure? Remember the kid who vandalized cars with spray paint in Singapore? He was caned.... this anus needs the same punishment!

Hey, its just one less stock car in the inventory. You have to admit, if you can get by the paint and the wheels, the grille and the scoop look pretty nice.

I agree Vortex. Other than those awful wheels, and two tone paint scheme, it looks like a nice Marauder.

I believe that there is a pic somwhere of this car in the beginning stages. I could be wrong, though.

Are we sure it's even a Marauder?

The only specific MM parts that I see are the headlights.

Not my cup of tea. To each his/her own.

There is still hope ... IMHO that car can be saved w/o too much work.

1) Lose the wheels ..... replace w/OEM wheels.

2) Lose the grill ..... replace w/OEM grill(badgeless or with badge).

3) Lose the hood w/scoop ..... replace entire hood assembly with OEM hood.

4) Lose the aftermarket Godheads & Marauder scripts on the side ..... replace with NOTHING.

5) Lose the two-tone effect on the front bumper ..... re-do the entire front bumper in silver. Do the same for the back bumper as well(all silver). Take some 3M stripes & do the inserts in both the front rear/bumpers as well as the side body mouldings ... in a red as close to DTR as you could get. Finish off the DTR highlights with some Bob White MARAUDER inserts in a red as close to DTR as you could get for the rear bumper.

Assuming you did that ..... I don't think that car would look all that bad.

Your welcome .....

Enjoy.

The concept is not where I want to go but from the half pic posted the workmanship and execution appear to be of very high quality. I believe in "to each his own" and you gotta know the owner just loves it and has invested a lot of thought, time and money in his Marauder ride. Good on him or her. Dennis:)

Bigslim, you always find these interesting Marauders. This one is over the top, though.

Actually..... I don't mind that on too much. I would not do it. If I knew the person who owned it, I'd pick on him about out. But...it isn't TOO bad!

I believe that you are right. I remember seeing that post. The results may not be to our liking, but they were taking their time and putting a lot of effort into the job.

I'd like to see more angles of that scoop. It looks like a 69-70 Cougar Eliminator to me. Although it may be one of those mid 80's Mustang jobbies....
Either way, it's not obnoxious.

Well, it's interesting. The wheels look like big flower petals to me.

Right color combo but not the same car.

The hood scoop is from the 1979-82 Mustang/Capri.

- The scoop looks stick on.
- The two-tone should have stoppped at the side markers.
+ The wheels remind me of the Fittipaldi's from back in the day that you could paint the centers
+ The horizontal grill is cool
+ The side emblems work cuz the front is no longer marked
+ Looks like Quality work
- Usually those big rimmers forget about the rake when sizing.
- No markings reminiscent of heritage.

Total score = better than stock, but I'll stick with mines!!!!

I thought it didn't look half bad, but maybe I just need to see the whole car for me to change my mind. Granted, it's not the best custom job but it is not exactly horrible.
