Will it fit both full size and donut? And how is it held in place?

Yes it has been tested to fit both size spare tire applications. It is held into place by both pattern and elastic. Alan can elaborate in more detail if required. It is a sigificant improvement of the cheap appearance and poor fit of the original equipment spare tire cover.

We had a local member take the cover to the SE Marauder breakfast and try it on both to ensure fit. We tried the elastic strap but the idea was better in theory than in practice. However, what does work is the board we use is stiffer and covers the tire. This board doesn't slip off the rubber tire like the normal spare tire cover. Eric, our local member contact, can elaborate as he's participated in the test fitting process here.

Thanks,

Alan

Yes, the spare tire cover is available. We shipped a custom embroidered STC last week.

I have one of the tire covers, but have not taken pictures yet. The weather has been bad lately. I will post pictures this weekend.

This is a picture of the raw material. This cover has not been mounted to the supplied curricular board. I will update when I finish the installation.
