Alright I've decided to go with nitrous on the MM. I only race it maybe 2-3 times a year at the track and don't really street race with it.
Which kit are you using? What supporting mods have you done with the kit?
What will the stock fuel pump support?
I favor NOS kits...
Oh and is it possible to run a dry kit on these cars? I hate wet systems that only work through one nossle..

Did some searching, Made some calls...
NX, No specific kit.
NOS, No specific kit.
Zex, Was on hold for 10 minutes and decided pissing was a better use of time.
Edelbrock, BINGO Specific kit. I called my buddy thats an E-Brock distributor and he's checking pricing and when he can get it here.

I know I contemplated Juice. When I was..... I got an overwhelming suggestion towards the Zex Wet Kit - 100HP Shot.

I would recommend the Zex Kit. Nozzles are nozzles, bottles are bottles but Zex's nitrous controller is the best in the business. My .02 worth as well as several of my drag racing buddies opinion. Take the time to do some research. I would also recommend going to some of the Mustang sites for more information. www.modularpowerhouse.com/forums (http://www.modularpowerhouse.com/forums) is a great place for the information/research your looking for.

From my understandings the Zex kit is a wet kit correct? I want to avoid a wet system on this car. I also like seperate siloniods so I can hide them easier.
Who's running the Edelbrock kit?

A Wet Kit uses Solinoids. A Dry Kit uses a Control Box to add Nitrous, and maniipulate the Fuel Pressure. At least that's how the ZEX does it.
W/ a proper install, a Wet Kit is just as safe, and you have more control over fuel.
OTOH, I have a bud who has a Zex Dry Kit that is is wanting to sell w/ some accessories. Let me know if you are interested.

Solenoid must be the hardest word to spell in the auto industry!

I'm just not a fan of wet kits on these 4v's
You can control fuel just fine with a dry system. I ran anywhere from 50-200hp on my stang/SHO for 7 years and never once had an issue. I'd just like to stick with what I know works.
As for tune wise. Can I just take my Xcal2 and pull 2* from all the RPM ranges?

Because I hate wet kits. But with these returnless systems a wet kit is easier to install and tune from what DR told me. From what everyone has told me mod motors are bad to run wet shots because at anything blow 3000rpm you run a risk of puddling. These intakes were not designed for liquid to flow through them.
I liked dry shots because you can hit them right outa the hole and not have to worry. Besides thats where my Marauder needs it most.
I was totally on the dry side but after talking to DR I'm at the top of the fence and don't know which way to fall...
ugh...
Are the zex kits really all that and a bag of chip's? They've just always been a "laugh" in the mustang scene around here...

I run a converted edelbrock sys. from plate to nozzle, got a two into one nozzle from [nos] mounted in front of M.A.F , picked up a w washer pump ,filled with methanol plumbed to the fuel side. actuated by a full throttle switch and micro sw. under the dash. when the tank is off go with just the meth, when the tank is on hold on. have to work out your own jetting. im` running #65-#78 great system so farand no worry about a lean condition. good luck
