A pillar has little dimmples that look like fish eyes. But there are two on each side in the same place. They are spot welds. Thin primer/paint . B pillar can see where the sheet metal is dog-legged to fit the vertical pannels on the doors. Again primer/paint not thick enough to cover/hide this.

Just had my MM at over 130 MPH for the first time. Home for a cleanup afterward I have noticed these dents for the first time at the B pillers. I am very noticeable of any damage to the MM and these are new. Does anyone have a better explanation than spot welds? Was the stress of the speed detrimental to the body?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I've got one that I believe I spotted after I bought the car. If I remember right, it's on the passenger front door, towards the back of the top of the door (b-pillar). Hardly noticeable, but it's there...

I had gone to my dealer (Northtown L/M) here in Kansas City, talked to the service mgr.(Scott). At first he was reluctant to fix my problem, then he got ahold of the L/M rep for this area(Carl, not real impressed with him). After Carl seen my car,he would only authorize fixing the left front door only, and not touch the other three. Scott had called me a few hrs. later & made a deal with me,to make me a happy camper. Still have the three dents & a horseshoe ding(LF door),but i will go back to deal with Scott.

This seems to be a feature on all CV's, GM's and MM's. I checked out the fleet of CV's at work and they all have small dents at the tops of all four dours, the two GM's at the dealership have them and so does mine.
