Went to No Problem to nite for Test N' Tune. First time at the track since January.
A blistering 88* and 80%.
With a full tank of gas(I had some bad gas so I had to fill her up w/ 104 octane to negate the 1/2 tank of bad gas), mats, spare, as she drives on the street here are my times;
1.798 - 12.671 -107.28
1.783 - 12.587 - 107.76
1.769 - 12.553 - 107.87.
After watching Ricky Bobby in "Talladega Nights" finish first while going backwards I just had to try it!
The above 60' times prove you can run a Drag Radial backwards and get good traction! Ricky Bobby knows how to drive!:bows:
I had a nail on one of my drags that could not be patched so they put an inner tube in her. I decided to switch sides so the inner tube would be on the drivers side, in the event of a blow out I would have more control.
3 People walked over to the pitts to compliment me on running 12.5 in a big family sedan.
A modified C5 was running 12.1 to 12.2.
It was a great time, my 2 daughters went with me.:)
Thanks Dennis for an awesome tune!
