At least two of us are planning on meeting at LePeeps in Bedford tommorrow at noon for lunch, followed by a short cruise maybe and then break off for car washes prior to Chucks. No reservations needed, just show up at noon and we'll plan from there, nothing official planned, just BS and go someplace. Hope to see you there.
Make that three, the wife and I will be there. Homecare for mother is arranged. Looking forward to seeing you guys again. It's 103 degrees in Bossier City right now. Pat

Pat, it may just be me and you the way this is looking.
Is is disappointing after all the initial enthusiasm. Well, homecare is paid for, Patricia and I are coming, we will commandeer come Grand Marquis Taxi's and cruise to Chuck's, Maury will be there with Marauder Alley set up.If memory serves me right weren't there three prizes for Marauders? One for you, one for me and one for Maury. Besides, I'm starving for those Chuck's fried onion rings.Pat

I CAN'T HANDLE THE PREASURE!!!!!
Lunch at NOON!! I will do my best to make it.
Vortex,Glad you gave me the address. I looked on my "Micky Soft Steets" program and it lists four Le Peeps in the Dallas area but none at that address. Please confirm, intersection of Harwood and Central Expressway, right? That's just south of the downtown area, right?Don't want to be without a street map in Dallas, or it's follow the sun to get out.

Pat,
This LePeep is at Central Dr. & Harwood in Bedford.
However, If it is just me, you and Vortex, (all coming in from the East) why not hook up at the LePeep in Dallas 11717 N Central Expy. ?
Vortex, Younga1,Now I get it, Bedford is a township. Didn't know that, thought it was a burb of Dallas, so I found a Harwood and Central Expressway and thought that was it. Ha. OK I'm on the right page now, Bedford is just west of Euless on 183 and I found Central Dr and Harwood. Whew. Now you want to change it? OK I'm ready for anything now - where?Got all my maps spread out on the floor, Columbus couldn't do better.Let me know this evening I'm going outside to clean the fins on my car's radiator.

Glad you three got together--I'll be too busy to make it --even if it was in Bedford--still have to get the MMready and the Barracuda wasn't as near finished as I was lead to believe---much work to be done--I'll be driving it to Chucks--my grandson will be driving the MM--will be at Chucks about 4:30 claiming Marauder Alley--see you folks there, Maury
Vortex, Younga1;OK with me, found that 11717 N. Central Expressway location early on. I'll be there at noon.Pat

Good to meet Pat and Patricia and see Adam again, it was a good time I think and maybe next time we can take a short road trip out of town. Chucks was ok but heck, it was 103 on my thermometer when I left, too hot for me. Anyway, lets make sure to do this again next month!
Mike: it takes me a solid 4 hrs from my front door to Chucks, driving @ 65.
Jim; it was great meeting you and seeing Adam again. Patricia and I had a fine time. I won runner up in the Marauder Class, Bill won first place. But Maury took two awards with his retro Barracuda, Ha.
We got home OK, long drive it seemed. See you guys again next month if all goes well. My car hit 108 degrees on the cockpit readout but the thermometer on the air filter cone registered 140 degrees.
Gotta be a solution in there somewhere. The mustang guy's solve that probem by punching through the fender metal (passenger side) seal the airfilter from the engine bay with a metal plate and all's outside ambient thru the filter.
We don't seem to have a suitable space that not's taken up with equipment.
Pat
