Z06 Whoa!!!

Well, I guess I had it comming.
On the way home from work, I notice a red Corvette with those tiny headlamps in the left lane.
The traffic was still moderate for after 9:00 PM.
I was just looking for some open road, so I switched sides a couple times.
Mr. red vette saw how well it was working for me, so he pushed ahead as well.
Next thing you know, we were side by side.
still too much traffic, for a small display.
The right lane was full, so I forged ahead of mr. red vette into the left lane and signaled again for the left turn lane.
Well nobody turns here, as I had even cruised a bit out of my usual route home.
well what a co-wink-e-dink, mr. red vette is turning left too!
Back on to a two lane road, I suck the pedal a bit too hard for the turn and the rear started to break loose.
I had to lift, a smidge and by the time I looked up, mr. red vette passes me in a no pass zone hammer down!
He took me by, total surprise!
I know his red vette is faster than my fancy taxi, but I would have enjoyed the opportunity of a two lane(going the same direction) side by side giddy up.
That is a very fast machine! :eek:

He may be faster, but guarantee he was wondering why he had that hard a time getting around that "fancy taxi" of yours. ;)

Thanks Todd, I guess I better not mess with that one....but I don't think that was a bonestock car.:D

PS: I went to web site and checked the times that were listed for the 2006 Z06...I better leave ALL of them alone.

Well thats alot faster than most of our Cars.

I know there are a couple of Z06's running around here. One is stock except for spray. He puts down 420 N/A, 590 Sprayed. The car is completely stock except for the Juice.

The other has a Stroker Motor that is not tuned well yet. He is putting down 430-ish, and there is still a lot of room for improvement.

I do not know either's ETA's yet..... but I am wanting to find out :D

If I got the jump on him, I'm convinced I would have been able to hold the lead for a short bit(providing it was a four lane road).
