Looks like there are few choices in the 255/55-18 tire range; however, I'm still looking as my rears are getting thin. Any recommendations in this size or another comparable size that won't require new wheels or affect my speedo, tach, ABS, or rub my fenders when turning?

Stick with the BFGoodrich's, they have the highest UTOQ rating for their size, and they are M+S

I also noticed at 13,000 miles my rear tires are getting very close to the wear bars. I'm thinking about the 255/50/18 Pirelli's. I'm just puzzled how the BFGs are so worn out. The fronts are like new. No wheel spin on the rears.

I can't imagine how any Marauder owners rear tires would wear faster than their fronts. It's not like MM people like to mash on that throttle at nearly every standing start! LOL!!!!

I like the BFGs for being CHEAP....relatively. If I had more Go-Juice in my ride, I'd go with the Pirelli Assymetricos that mensrea recommends.

You'd think they coulda given us a rear tire for the spare, so all we would have to do is buy one more for the back! Bastages...

Check this website. Actually, I'll PM you the link. Not sure about non sponsor websites. This online discount tire place, has the MM listed and offers optional, bigger and wider tires.

NO GUARANTEE's. Check with them and their online tech help.
I'm in the market for new tires as well. I'd appreciate any 411 in regards to optional tire brands/sizes available.

Thanks.

well i know most cars wear the fronts, that's why you rotate them, so i bought two tire for the front that are the same size as the rear and the car is level looks good, rides better, no rubbing, and i can rotate!!! can you say rotate thanks phil:coolman: :)
