View Full Version : FYI - Vapor Management Valve replaced

This is what triggered the "Check Engine" light and the P0442 EVAP code on my Marauder last week. They ran the EVAP diagnostic and found that the "Vapor Management Valve" was sticking open.

Whatever that means...besides the $65.00 part and $181.00 labor I was charged to replace it.

$181 to take 2 10mm nuts on and off, I love it.

Where is this thing anyway?

Its the thingy that bolts to the wiper cowl right above the heater hoses coming out of the heater core.

Is there a possibility that this can be deleted and turned off in the computer? Would really clean up my engine compartment if I could!
