Anyone happen to know the width of the spoiler off hand?
If not, I will just measure it when I get home tonight.
Thanks

If you can find an LED bar than can make the curve of the OEM spoiler, Id sure like to know about it.
Good luck in the search, dont bother looking at Cadillac STS's, been there :D

I just ordered one. The guy said that every 4 bulbs create a complete circuit. If it's too long all I have to do is trim it and seal it with RTV. He said it is flexible.
I'll let you guys know more after I get it put together. ;)
Curious Zack, how much did yours take to make?

Why do I get a feeling a 'Line of Fire' light bar is being used. Or did you try that one too Zack.
And now I know not to use a STS light bar. Cause I was looking into that option if it was feasible.

My first one cost 50 bucks to make.
Its the LABOR thats expensive!
PM me the info on this contraption you bought. I am curious
I did find however it is easier to start with a primered spoiler, drill the holes then have it painted. That adds $120 for paint.

Here is a Description of and a link to the Line Of Fire LED Strip.
Altec's Line of Fire LED light bars add style and safety to your rig. They mount easily with no drilling onto the space below your tailgate, and act as a set of running lights. They brighten when you brake, and flash with your turn signals. The 12V Line of Fire light bars feature one-piece polymer construction and state-of -the-art components. They also include a 36 in. cable with a flat connector, which plugs into your factory trailer hitch wiring.

Very similar but from another retailer. The new version has a reverse option. It's also cheaper than the original unless you go for the new version with reverse.

Look at the White Lightning model for the reverse option.

It is a nice piece. Im a little leary of how you will recess it in the spoiler though.
Be prepared to remove up to 7 sections in the back of the spoiler to make this work.
Good luck with it.

The retailer. He asked which length I wanted. I told him I don't know yet. Then he said they cost the same and you can always cut down the 60" if you need to.

Well for this, I'm not actually going to do the work myself. I am going to have a local body shop try to work out the other part of the project. :D
So let me take back the part about being a cheaper build.
I have 77 leds in mine spaced 5/8" apart.
That equates to 48.1 total inches long.

I was thinking the 49" would work.
