I snapped off a couple photos. The new blower plates are done and I've started the tear-down / install process. There are 32 pictures here so I'll just make the folder browsable and the link is at the end...

Enjoy!

Cool! Good to see you've finally got everything gathered together. What are those spring thingies at the back of the adapter plate... blow-offs?

TooManyFords

Not quite all the parts, but I sure have a table full that need to go on before I buy more. The important parts are here and I have enough to start assembly.

The spring thing on the back is as you guessed, the blow-off valve in case of a backfire.

Cheers!

How much air can you pull through that filter?? It looks kinda small for the blower??

It will be plenty big for 2000 CFM. That's 2"x30" in suface area if you add it all up. And it is K&N like so it breathes freely.

I'm trying to get it done by next week. I still have to mount the blower to get the exact length for the drive snout and then it's just a couple days!

My list of things I still need:

1. Cooling fan
2. Drive snout, tensioner and belt (see above)
3. Multi-stage nitrous controller (required for racing only)
4. Hood cut!

Cheers!

Thanks! The alternator is a PA Performance unit that is powder coated gloss black.

Just a quick update!

The blower and plates are on and it is really looking sweet! This test-fit confirmed all the prior measurements and everything is dead on. With the modified coolant tube from Zack, I'll have some realy nice pictures by this weekend.

Tomorrow night I finish the front cover swap, the damper install, the fuel rails, injectors and then I get to take the blower off one more time. I still have to have the upper plate tapped for the IAT sensor this week and then it all goes back on for good.

This plan is finally coming together!
