When I went to see the GT500 it had a new battery blanket.
Very nice touch for the cold areas of the country.
Has anyone checked to see if there is one that will fit
out batt. Ours is the 65 size.

Dunno...But, in four years now, no one has ever asked about it.
IMHO, if one lives in a winter weather region that justifies a battery blankie, chances are that Marauder is tucked away from the elements anyway. The car just doesn't handle snow very well, without some preparation that is...

Are you sure it's not just insulation to protect the battery from the heat?
Battery blankets usually have an electrical cord that you plug into your ac outlet each night. Just like a block heater.

Not the best pic but it sure looks like it is an insulation blanket to protect the battery from the engine heat.

I believe it is also an absorbent wrap to prevent acid from getting on other parts.

I had one on my 97 T-Bird. Pretty sure it was to protect it from the heat since heat is worse than cold on a battery. I took it off when it was time for a new battery and I couldn't get it back on the new one. BTW my MM handles great in the snow with the winter wheels/tires and the four 40lb kitty litter bags in the trunk.

It's for insulating the battery from the high under hood temps. Have one on my '97 T-Bird also.

What kind of snow tires do you run?
