Long Island Car Show Sunday Sept. 24

My friend Jimmy who owns Phoenix Auto Upholstery in Franklin Square is running a fundraiser car show for the Valley Stream Lions Club. The show is being held at the Valley Stream Pool on Merrick Road(11580). It is a $35 donation per car, but if we go as a group(club) they will offer a discount. There will be a band, FREE t-shirts, and Vendors selling accessories. Vendors include Valley Vans, Precision Installations, and many more. The rain date is Oct. 15. Lets see if we can get a good turn out for this show. The show will be judged, but there is no classes, just best ofs..like paint, interior, etc. It is also I good time to make an appointment with Jimmy for that custom interior work you always wanted...suade inserts, piping, flammed out headliner, custom mats, custom trunk design, underhood covers, etc...He is known to give substantial discounts at shows, especially his show.

2 things, will this be mostly a classic car show? and how are those pullies??

It will most likely be an everything custom show...cars, trucks, bikes...depends on who shows up... The pullies are on, thank you again. The 4.10's are in and the flowmaster super 40's are in...I am still waiting on my cold air kit from Reinhardt, and then it is off to be tuned. There is a big improvement already, and I cant wait for more!!! The guys from LI Rides Magazine are suppose to be there taking pictures for next months magazine.

Straight from the horses mouth...

"The show is from 10am-3pm.

Club discounts...

bikes are $20 if they come as a club... 2-3bikes

cars/trucks can come as a club for $25 each.

If a club wants, for $100 i'll give them a spot with 4-5 cars or trucks
and room to set up signs or tables with info, which would be good for recruiting new members.
