Today I was told that one of my co-worker past. I still can't believe he is gone.

My friend Rick takes a motorcycle trip out west every year. He goes the northern route stopping at Crazy Horse and driving through the mountains. He then comes back the southern route and stops in Arkansa to visit his family.

Last week we were told that he had an accident outside San Antonio of and the details were sketchy. We were told that he lost control on wet pavement and went down in a ravine. He went airborne and landed on his head. Helmet was smashed. He suffered head trama and broke his arm in two places. He had blood on his brain and was in coma. Today he past on.

He was a fine Machine Repairman and loved to ride his 2003 Orange GoldWing. He had 38 years with Ford. I am sure that if he had to pick the way he had to go it would have been on his GoldWing.

Rick will truly be missed at work. I am a better person for knowing him.

I rode to Crazy Horse last month, he was probably at Sturgis then, too?

It's a shame. Riding in the rain can be scary.

R.I.P. Rick

Sorry to hear that Darryl, obviously a good friend at work. Seems you spend more time with people at work than your friends outside work. I feel for you...I lost a co worker and friend when he was shot in the line of duty, think about him every day. Take it easy buddy....

Sorry to hear of this Darryl:( Its really been a hell of year when it comes to this kind of thing. I've never been one to be overly bothered by "death" (as it is a natural occurence) but this year it's been particularly difficult. So many I know have lost someone close to them this year. Its downright overwhelming at times.

It again reminds us all to live our lives as if today is our last day. You never know when your words to someone else may be your last.

My condolences to you Darryl.
