My first engine was like that for two years and it didn't lead to any new problems. I sure others know what is wrong and how to fix it, but again it didn't cause anything else to go wrong for me.

leaking valve seal guides i believe. It will get worse in the long run, but nothing goes wrong with the car except you will have to add a qt of oil here and there.

Just a theory here. If the car sits for extended periods, some oil may run down the side of the cylinders and pool on top of the pistons. This will burn and produce small ammounts of blue smoke at startup. I get a once in a great while puff, but haven't seen any bad effects. No consumption, no noise, no power loss, but I only have 137K miles on it.

Wow Paul, did you convert your Marauder into a Taxi? Your report, however, sure makes me feel better about my smoke on start up.
