I was moving right along on the new blower project and ran into a snag. Not a big one, but one that will keep me from turning the key.
Turns out I need just a little more space at between the upper pulley and the front of the motor to hang the idler bracket. Specifically, I need a coolant crossover tube that is 1.125-1.25 inches closer to the motor.
And this is where one of you can help. I can't run a welder so I need someone to modify mine (or a spare you have laying around) and remove this much tubing from each side. The drivers side is easy as there are not estra bungs to get in the way. The passenger side tube could be modified just between the two bungs and welded back together.
If you have this capability and can step up to the plate and finish this in a few days, SPEAK UP! I can call you to discuss the fine details and we can make final arrangements.
Whomever can help me in this will have the satisfaction of saying "See that crossover tube on ProRauder? I MADE THAT!"
I'm really close of getting this project finished and this seems to be the 'current' deal breaker. (isn't there always one?)
Thanks in advance!
John
