Just curious if anyone else has one in their garage. I suspect I have one out there and it keeps wanting more bling!

:D

John

ps: Hey Marty? How did you keep L/K from becoming a money pit?

John, money pit is putting it nice. I cannot believe how much I have spent and continue spending on my car (new engine and more). But you now what, I love it.:D My car is me, all me and I do not regret one penny spent. But this is my last car build:P. Really.

$96,000.00 and counting, I'm pretty sure thats a money pit. Pretty good for something I can sell for $30,000.00:eek:

Not me, as I patiently explained to Penny just yesterday, "the twenty five dollars and 46 cents I have spent on the FruitPunch was well invested." :D Dennis:beer:

Yes, about $8,000 to go faster. Another $500 in shiny stuff. Best money I ever spent.

Big Merc has me beat, by a little, thank you. Joe Walsh showed up at the Church of the Holy Donut today and we planed how to blow more, more, more, in big amounts. I hope I don't get bored. Tom

That price includes the purchase price though. I bought early and paid full whack. The bad decisions just kept coming after that. I bought a spare motor and built it up, then upgraded that and am now building a third. the only stock items are the body and Interior.

New gears, 31 spline axles.
brake package, driveshaft, tranny, stall converter. first an S trim and intercooler then went to a T trim. split rims.

Bad thing is if Zack does good I see a KB twin screw in my future. The hits just keep on coming.

I figure what the heck, I gave up hookers and heroin.......ok I gave up heroin.
It's a hobby

There really is always just one more thing to get and install. I am always looking forward to having something to do to her. Speaking of which, is there going to be a group buy on SS brake lines?

Only my 1988 Tbird Sport was the "Money Pit".

As for my MM, not yet.

Since I bought it six months ago:

Custom emblems for grill, trunk & SW
Oil change
Trailer hitch
Bum CD player replaced under warranty

So no, not a money pit.

Nope. I don't consume alcohol. I don't smoke cigarettes. I don't purchase illegal substances from our fine local street vendors. The Marauder takes the place of all those. Actually cheaper than doing the others. :) So, see, I am actually SAVING money by modding the MM.

I have put one third the price of the origonal cost in mods/upgrades in less than three years.

Two happiest days of boat ownership?

The day you buy it...and the day you sell it!
