With the air fuel running pig rich, and timming dropped down to 9*:

378.17 RWHP
361.03 Torque

Not a bad place to start. :)

Had a little predetonation. West coast fuel is not the best thanks to all the.... Nature lovers involved in politics.

Are you going to dial it in with a custom tune?

DUDE!!! I feel for ya! That sucks, and not in the good way!

Still.....you should be able to get about 400 to the ground....shouldn't you???

For a start with it running rich and only 9 degrees of timing your doing ok. A better tune (A/F and timing adders) will bring you up in the 400 RWHP range without a problem, even with 91-92 octane based on the boost you are running.

That's what I've been saying ever since I got to run 94 octain from the pump in Detroit.
N/A it would break the tires loose easy with 4 people in the car and a full tank of gas. (Nice 1-2 bark as well :) )
West coast fuel it won't even brake the tires loose unless I break torque it. :mad2:
Race fuel was another story :coolman:

It sounds like your running my bad gas tune but with more fuel thrown at it to get the detonation issue figured out. You need to get the a/f ratio corrected and then work the base timing back up to where it'll still be ok on pump gas. The numbers will be what they will be.

I baselined the original FIT/Diablo tune right after the install last spring and she put down 442 rwhp / 401 rwtq with an a/f ratio from 10.8 to 11.8 and 14 degrees of base timing (no adders) with the same pulley you're running. After upgrading to the timing adder tune last summer - which Greg isn't sending out with the kits - and getting the airflow dialed in on the dyno the power numbers went up to 465 rwhp and 425 rwtq and a flat 11.5 a/f ratio. The power is there, you just need to get it dialed in.

Gas has been so bad around here since this spring I don't dare run my timing adder tune without at least mixing some race gas. But with race gas at $6/gal I run the bad gas tune most of the time. Even so, she's still a hoot to put the hammer down in. Now if you're talking using race gas, that's a whole other story. I've got a race gas tune with adders that'll peel the skin off your face. Oh yeah!
