I have a 2003 Marauder, black with light flint interior, with just over 10,000 miles on it.Getting a clunk in the rearend every now and again after braking then getting back on the gas.
Has this problem come up before?

Your problem may just be a u-joint. If it's anything else, someone smarter on the site should be able to help.

Welcome to MM.net, hope you enjoy yourself. What part of the country are you in?

Welcome to the site. With miles that low I assume it doesn't get driven much. First thing that comes to mind is the brake calipers hanging up from lack of use. Maybe spray them down with some brake cleaner. Maybe I'm way of base.....there some great mechanics on this site I'm sure will give you other/better suggestions.

I am from eastern Pa.,and no,I don't drive it much, never in the rain, but I do drive it aggressivly.
Noise is definatly rear end,not brake related.
The reason I ask is that I am considering a supercharger, and want to make sure if I need warranty work I get it done first.
I have done nothing to the car so far except GT coil covers, and last week put it on a lift and adjusted the ride height.Looks way better level than with the jacked up 70's look.
And the clunk was there before the height adjustment was made.

Check the decal located along the aft edge of the drivers door. The month and year should be located on the upper left hand corner of the decal.

Bet you have a 300B...... donut spare, no fuel door release, no separate dash clock in the dot matrix band, no map pockets in the front seats. But you did get traction control. Just in case you were wondering.

BTW --- get your S/C raffle tickets. Check out the Marauderville IV forums and buy a ticket. Oh yeah, get your reservations in for the big MM gathering in Florida in Novermber. Hope to see you there.

All of those things, but what is the matrix band thing???
All I did was order it and pick it up when it finally came in.I was slightly pi--ed about lack of fuel door release and no map pockets, but the dealer insisted the manufacturer had the right to change the specs.
I took it anyway.
My only real complaint is the seats,my 95 Grand Marquis LS is more comfortable and I am 5'6" ,don't know what you tall owners think, but I think the seat area should have been longer front to back.
Maybe that's why I don't drive it much.My wife really wanted the convertible, too bad Ford didn't make them.

I don't know what they call that strip that runs across the dashboard. It is kinda silverish with little black dots. Think most of the folks here call it the "Dot Matrix" ....

No issues with the seats for me. I find them very comfortable. The one owner that I am aware of in the Big & Tall category is BDJ. He did a mod to the seat rails to get an extra 1" to 1.5" of travel.

If they made the convertible, my wife would have had one too. :D

Supercharger Raffle tickets are $100 each. Limited to 150 total tickets. Winner gets choice of a supercharger kit from one of 3 different vendors. Only about 25 tickets left .... don't wait too long.

At 6'6" and 375 lbs the seats in the marauder are perfect. (for me)
I did remove the sunvisor on the drivers side so I can see.
The seat mod works thanks blue but i did not come up with that one.
There is a pin in the seat rail pull it out and move it back for leg room.

Where in Eastern Pa. are you?

Its not the leg room, its the length of the actual seat cushion. Longer in the 95 Merc.Just feels better to me,like an old pair of shoes.
I am in Chester County

Barry,
You would be surprised how many are still in base warranty. What was stated above is usually just a 1st thought. I now know the true start date.

Saw two unrestored 1965 Mustangs at the Prince William Cruisers car show last Saturday. Both were in "showroom" shape. One had only 4,000 miles. The other was at 10,000 miles.

Welcome to the board! My wife has to make do with a 2000 mustang convertible. I keep telling her "it's a baby Marauder" but she isn't buying it. If the MM convertible had been produced, I am sure we would have had to buy one by now. Since I have made some minor mods to the Marauder, she now perceives her Stang as "not having the giddyup it used to". :) Maybe Santa will bring her a Reinhart Xcal2 Stang tune for Cnristmas....
