I need a new head unit. My CD player and tape player work fine, but the receiver is shot. Anyone put in an after market unit and have a stock unit for an '03 that they want to sell reasonably?

Check with Marauderjack, I believe he has one.

I have one but it's supposedly already sold. Waiting for a Money Order. If I get home Friday and don't have payment, I'll sell it to you instead.

I don't know if it will fit and plug right in but I have a head unit from my 2001 focus, AM, FM, CD...no tape player

Anyone install an aftermarket unit? I know you will lose the steering wheel controls for the radio, but there are so many other features I like. Does the factory system play MP3's?

I have a stock unit 4 sale......and if you do upgrade to an aftermarket head unit, you CAN still use your steering wheel controls. You will need a PAC module. If anyone needs serious help with this, PM me and let me know.

I installed an aftermarket radio and still have the steering wheel controls. Need to use a head unit that has a remote. Audio shop then connected this gizmo that you really can't see that works with the steering controls - works pretty much all the time.
